It's probably the CPU fan, but that depends on the motherboard, and I'm sure it's not running at 18 rpm. Take the side panel off and look for a really really slow spinning fan (if it's really doing 18 rpm).
EDIT: Adizz I've had a Fan1 that was the rear exhaust fan.
It cant be running at 18RPM must be a faulty sensor. Fan1 must be the CPU cooler fan. I'm sure you can disable the automatic shutting down in the BIOS.
ooh, I can't say i'm the worlds most familiar with AMD in general.
I may be useless on how to install this thing, other then a follow the instructions.
Best I can say is to follow the instructions very well, to remove the plastic that's on the bottom of the heatsink. and to apply the thermal paste right.

thats ok, well, in general, what is usually involved? I think I apply thermal paste/Do I scrape off the old thermal paste too?/Do I use the back plate I showed u thats currently installed or in general do u still use it when installing it on an Intel mobo?
afaik your setup should be very similar to how your current one is (with the bar) and just having to connect it like before.
