wierd power problem

not sure where to put this but...

I switched out gpus, and afterwards I went to power it on and it wouldn't power on.

So confused, but I was like its not turning on at all so its gotta be the jumper pins or the psu. checked the 2 pins, they were fine, all power cords fine.

So I randomly decide to switch the psu plug from one outlet to another, and blamo, it works!

So I thought maybe I overloaded the outlet with too many devices.

But none of the other devices on the outlet stopped working.

Does the gtx 560 draw more power than a 470 (which never gave me problems)?

I think it was just a fluke, just the other day my laptop charger wasn't working on any outlet and then after a few more attempts, went straight to work without any problems.
