First WC Build <-need suggestions

SO! I'm new to water cooling and would like to "get wet" with my first build.
I've been reading through the WC noob sticky for about the past 3 months or so learning all I can about WC'ing (a special thanks is in order to juggalo and all the other fine people for providing a perspective wc'er with in depth comprehensive guides on the basics of WC'ing). From reading reviews I have an Idea of some of the components I want to include in my system, however I still am left with some questions on what to get.

The build:
EK supreme HF

EK GeForce 480 FC nickel

Black Ice GTX 360

Swiftech MCP355 (getting a new top tbd acrylic or acetal)

As for a res or fans, thats where the general public should assist me! Of course all these parts are perspective and are open to criticism (please do critique my components so far!).

I suppose I should add that I am using a HAF X case (not sure if that rad is the right fit for the case), and would prefer suggestions on a bay mounted res.

For fans, I'd say Gentle Typhoons hands down. A res is really up to you; it's mainly for looks. Personally, if money wasn't a limit I'd grab this for a res:
