What made D&D so good was the fact that it wasn't scripted and it all came upon you, your friend and the ''dungeon master'' the story was all created while you played.

You can't recreate D&D on a gaming machine.
Trying to find the hottub back to 1974, hopefully it will be made well, and not just shoved out the door.

There is 0 reason to play this when you can play DDO, which is 100% better in every way.
Found DDO to causal, like all the other sword fanatsy MMO's out there. Plus FTP is just ridiculous, but glad, you find something worthy about it.

it is casual, but so is chilling with my friends playing DnD back in the day. I dont RP like i used to, i think its been over a year since the last time. But my friends and i can jump into DDO and do a dungeon crawl together and have fun, We dont have to worry about a monthy subscription, so if we only play once every week or 2, it doesnt matter.

Well one of the strong points about NWN is that it is indeed free once you have the game.

They don't sell the game anymore, except maybe NWN 2, and that may be tough to find..

I've played many many games in my days, there is a good reason why NWN was #1 game of the year...(at that time)

I think everyone should at least give neverwinter a try, if nothing else, you may make new friends to RP with...

BTW I love action modules in NWN, love dungeon crawlers, awesome stuff..

Wait no Bioware. In my hyper inflated opinion if Bioware is not involved then I'm worried that it will suck. But for now ill give it the benefit of the doubt

I never cared for D&D, but I enjoyed NWN2. I'll be loosely following this release

Baldur's gate 2 would like to have a word with you. You do realize the majority of good Western RPG's through the 90's to early 00's were all based on the D&D rule set right?
