I am able to get 820Mhz out of my cards on stock voltage (.987v). This is rock solid stable.

very nice. I think i'll keep mine at 800. I just hated the 723Mhz clock, its soo uneven.

800/1000 looks soo much nicer.

- Is this Card basically a better version of a GTX480?
- How noisy is the cooler Idle/Load? (reference)
- How high do temperatures get? (reference)
- How high will it overclock on stock voltage? (can it hit 800 core?)

And a pretty big one,

Is it safe to Actually Overclock this thing with voltage? Why are soo many dying? Is it a problem with the cards??
Never had the GTX 480 but moved up from the Palit GeForce GTX 460 Sonic Platinum to the Palit GeForce GTX 570 Sonic Platinum and had some problems with heat sent the card in for repair I bought an ASUS GTX 570 to see how it runs and it is so loud compaired to thePalit GeForce GTX 570 Sonic Platinum cant wait to get that sonic back. I did over clock the Asus core clock to 800 MHz and memory clock to 2000MHz shader to 1600 MHz and it runs cool but loud. Cant seem to hear any difference in fan speed when over clocked. Using Fur Mark to to burn in and it and fan runs at about 70 percent.
