custom acrylic case- what glue?

I'm building a custom acrylic case since nothing I found online suited me. What glue is suggested to fuse acrylic beams together for the frame? I'd like it to dry clear and obviously needs to melt acrylic together for strong bond.

It's technically considered a solvent and not a glue, since it chemically bonds them together, but Weld-On #3 is my personal favorite.

I prefer to by mine at Delvie's Plastics Inc, but you can probably pick it up locally.

The Weld-On (#3 and #4 ~ #4 is moderately fast-setting) is for capillary bonding. You will need a bottle and applicator. The applicators come in a couple of diameters, which one you use is dictated by the thickness of the on-end panel being bonded).

Another option is to bead-weld using #16.

Thanks for the info.

I'm planning to build 8 identical skeleton frame out of 1"x1" square acrylic dowel to hold mobo, PSU, and HDD. The panel will be screwed on but the frame I wanted them welded together for cleaner look.

isn't chloroform used for acrylic for capillary bonding?

I can't tell if they are Extruded or Cell-cast but 1" should be thick enough to handle a few 6-32's for mounting parts. Or would 3/4 or even 1/2" be OK?
