P45 crossfire capability

Thread Starter
So I'm thinking about going crossfire on my P45 motherboard. But anyone know if it is worth it, when it is x8 x8? Seen some stuff on sites that X8 is good enough, but think it was tested on P55. So anyone got any experience on P45?

With a 5770, 8x 8x is fine. Only the higher end cards you may see a slight drop (though your cpu at stock, will hit the wall before the pci-e lanes).

Just to notice. I'll be using an ASRock P45, HAF X case and CM Hyper 212 to overclock my CPU to max possible (bet around 3-3,5 Ghz).
