Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 vs ARCTIC COOLING Cooling Accelero XTREME Plus

Thread Starter
I have the XFX GTX 260 Black Edition (216 SP).
I can get a ARCTIC COOLING Cooling Accelero XTREME Plus with the VR002 plate for my GTX260 (which should work right?) for a total of 20 USD.

Whats the difference between
Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme GTX 280
and
Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme Plus
Is it only the naming, that the first is actually the same, it's just named after the graphic card it fits?

the difference is that when u buy new GPu u just need to buy a vr00x Plate on the GPU u have, when the accelero xtreme gtx 280 is only for that card

the AXP cooler supports future cards...

where the Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 only supports the 280...

there is also the Accelero Xterme GTX Pro... which supports 285, 280, 275 and 260

but thats it

so i would look at the AXP cooler...

i have 2 of them... they are great..

plus it will most probably fit your next card
