OCZ Special Ops 1600 CL8 - $40, $30 AR
Seagate 1TB - $55 after promo code
Elite 331 + 350W PSU [CM store] - $30
$248, $238 AR.
And honestly, I don't know what I would use a 5450 for except HD playback, it's really not a card for gaming. 8200 is just as capable in HD playback.
its not marketed as a gaming computer, also you have a ddr2 nvidia motherboard which makes no sense anymore and are still lacking a proper graphics card

The parts are crap as always and the discount is extremely pitiful.
I've built a similar combo out of individual parts that is better, I'm trying to search for it on AMD forums but I really can't find it at the moment. If I could, I'd post it here because it would be so much better for cheaper.

EDIT: Found it.
Athlon II x3 445 - $71
ASRock K10N78M-PRO GeForce 8200 board - $52
OCZ Special Ops 1600 CL8 - $40, $30 AR
Samsung F3 1TB - $63
Elite 331 + 350W PSU [CM store] - $30
$256, $246 AR.
Cheaper all around and much better parts save maybe for the video card, but honestly the only thing you'd probably use a 5450 for is HD playback, and GeForce 8200 can do HD playback just fine as well.
This combo doesnt work, you have an am3/am2+/am2 motherboard which only supports DDR2 and your linking to DDR3 ram. It would have to be a really awesome deal for me to buy something which only supports DDR2 at this point.

Generally I agree most combo deals are Blah, but maybe you should just admit the newegg.com isnt that bad this time.

Whoops, I'll have to look again later. Got to go!

The point of this combo is you can click one button and buy it all.
It is nothing amazing, but is decent and easy.

I could find stuff for even less used, or run down to MC and get a Athlon II x4 or Phenom II x2 with a AM3 board for $100, get 4 gigs of DDR3 from newegg for ~$25 AR and code, psu for $25 AR, case for $25 and a GPU for ~$25 and be about $270 (~$200 AR), but not everybody has the knowledge, ability or desire to deal with rebates to do that.

So now you'd rather go with a 350w Cooler Master PSU just to prove a point.

Hmmmmmm I'd still take the Newegg one.

Minus the case it's a decent build for the price, especially for those who just browse the web/play music and watch netflix.

Good find!

Actaully I like his last build, although personally I've had some bad experiences with Biostar motherboards they tend to be on the bottom of quality scale.

I've had a pretty good experience with Biostar motherboards. In fact I consider them better than even MSI now.
350W Coolermaster > 480 (really 330W) Logisys
