Thread Starter
Hi folks.

Need help from experts here in my NB/ram timing optimising.

im using team xtreem lv 1866mhz 4gig rams @ 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 & NB 2800mhz.

my system is a per my sig below.

is this the most efficient setup i can get? i am thinking of going 3k for my NB.

my cpu-nb volt @ 1.425v, dram @ 1.7v

any help much appreciated.

push the NB as high as itll go, its a really good performance booster and at those clock speeds you would be better off lowering the memory timings (as AMD systems see more performance from low timings than high mem clocks). otherwise, nice job.

I am pretty new myself, but try to lower the timings to some type of CL8, then see what you can get from the CPU/NB

Then compare those benches, thats what I'm doing now for my CL6 setting on my CL7 RAM

At 3000Mhz, going from CL9 to CL6-8-6 yields some ~500MB/s addition in MaxxMem. Just saying.

You will get better performance with tighter timings. I don't see the need for 3000mhz compared to 2800mhz. theres a thread around here on that I will try to find.
