Any sandy bridge options left? - Page 3

I found a website that is selling almost all the asus boards still.

Here

Don't know if you can trust them though. Not too overpriced, which is a plus.

Four seconds worth of googling and I came across reviews saying they sell crap they don't have in stock then deal with it when you bring it up. I'd ask them if they actually have what you are looking for. (Or you can buy my Asus p8p67 pro for a grand:eek:, I wouldn't mind)

I thought I found a place yesterday, but I looked this morning and my order is cancelled. I emailed about 25 different places and one of them told me that they had them in stock... I just placed an order... If the order goes through I'll let everyone know!!

eCOST.com lists Sabertooths in stock, and will even tell you (on the phone) that they have a ton at the warehouse and they're ready for shipment. But once you order one, they take your money and tell you that they can't ship them out because of the recall. Be careful. I have 230 bucks tied up with them.

Any info or pics of the upcoming boards from EVGA or about the Z68 boards?

That was where I ordered from the other day... checked my order this morning and it said "backordered". No email or notifications or anything. I called them up and they cancelled my order with no problems.

I emailed about 25 places and found two places that told me they had some stock (via email). One place showed no inventory but told me as long as I acknowledged the recall they would ship me out their last one. I ended up ordering from the other place as well since that came up first, but I have not gotten any confirmation from them, other than the standard 24-48 hour processing time email. I have a feeling they may cancel... the phone number connected to some sales department voice mail in what sounded like India... I figure I should hopefully end up with a board from one of the two. I dont think selling the extra should be a problem... even though I paid too much for it!!

Whats the deal with the "Rep" thing... should I be trying to earn brownie points wink.gif

This site has some details that were leaked about the Z68 boards... no pics that I have seen though.

I ordered the last one from the first place (he asked me not to advertise that they were doing it for me since they weren't supposed to... I'm going to keep my word on that one since he was cool about it). The other place that said they had one was the central computers link above, but as mentioned above their feedback may be shaky. If I get a shipping confirmation from them I will let everyone know, their site claims they have just about everything in stock so the orders can flood in if it's in the clear upsidedwnsmiley.gif

Also, one just popped up on Ebay... starting bid of 150... I'll bet it breaks $200 for sure!
