Personally, I'll buy whichever brand GPU is cheapest. I do avoid XFX and Gigabyte though. Any other brand is cool with me. I compare warranty and cooler design on the cards I'm looking at, check out prices. Whoever has the best between all 3 things I look for, that's what I grab. Again, AVOIDING XFX and Gigabyte.
+1 for OCN discounts, if the prices are cheaper than newegg ill give you my business

Weird, most people seem to go for EVGA for warranty and discount XFX due to the same? I'm not sure I understand cos both EVGA and XFX honour warranty for OC and HeatSink replacement whereas XFX seem to have the added benefit of allowing you to transfer the warranty (in US) to a second owner, surely a massive resale plus.

i beg to differ from a few people...coz i think msi cards looks more awesoem than asus....and btw i dont like so bland looking evga cards and their coolers r also not very gud but their service/warranty+step up program are gud.........
i choose msi/zotac for nvidia
and saphire/msi for ati/amd
msi because of its coolers and ocablity...
saphire for build quality
zotac for their extended warranty and gud build quality....

Is there a video card sale coming up? Just got rid of the last card I had lying around, so I'm now in the market for two cards, either 2x 570/580 or 2x 6950/6970

Hey Squirrel,

At the moment, we don't have a video card sale coming up. But as soon as we do, we'll be posting it up here so you guys can take advantage of it.

Although we don't have a sale at the moment, we do have a couple of Open Box graphics card items that were opened but returned immediately. They're not what you're particularly looking for (460/480) but if you know someone who wants to take advantage of these discounted cards, let 'em know!

Stay tuned though for more great stuff though.

My preferred brands are EVGA and MSI.

Asus and Gigabyte are also good.
