Looks like an H70 pump and H50 rad. Maybe Aseteck had some spare parts left over? If the tubing is rubber or some kind of pvc, then the outside diameter would have to be bigger than the H70 tubing, (which is fairly thin walled). What about the inside diameters? This could have some to do with differenciating temps as the previous poster had mentioned. I really think Corsair would do well by themselves to release a 240 version (The all new and improved Corsair H90:D), as many cases can accept a 240 mounted horizontally in the top of the case.

Asetek LCLC with little to no tweaks? Talk about lazy imo.

LCLC definitely have a place in pc building, especially with OEMs but IMO they all should come with a rad like the H70 or better. That one uses the rad that the H50 uses... I'd go air before using that one.

Hey guys,

Just thought I would make myself available for any questions about the revisions that when into this product over our previous models. Let me know what your questions are and I will definitely answer any that I can. =)

Cheers,

Personally, I'd like to see a pump performance curve for the h50 and h70. That's been top secret information so far, apparently.

It's no surprise that the pump info is classified. They get H70 performance with a single fan and an H50 sized radiator. tongue.gif Yet everyone is pissed when they can't get the details? :O

=) I am glad you understand. Unfortunately some tricks can't be revealed.

One of the reasons this is performing better is our 3rd generation coldplate.

P.S. I work here in the San Jose, CA office and anyone is more than welcome to setup a time or date to come visit and check stuff out =)

Stu; any info you can give us about the amperage limits of the build in fan controller?

As the reviewer said, the only thing I can see really producing the rather large cooling difference are the larger diameter tubes...and the 3rd gen cold plate, according to Stu. Intriguing to say the least.

My first post here and after reading the entire post, I am kinda shocked that so many people are so negative toward the new guy on the block...

Another discovery, so many people brainwashed into thinking and Corsair is the best when it comes to closed loop WC.

I have used the H50 as well as the H70. I really liked the H70 until it sprung a nasty leak. My MOBO then died. RMA'd the H70 [at my own expense] and it is now nearly one full month and still no replacement while they do more research on the failed unit.

The Corsair H70 looked and performed excellent for me until the big leak...

I like the review on the Antec Kühler H2O 620 Liquid Cooler. I want to replace my H70 with one. Why so much skepticism when the benchmarks clearly show who the real champ is?

I do not understand you guys...narrow minded for sure....

Soar

PS Look at my H70 picture [especially look for the leak where the hose attaches to the right angled rotatable joint and wake up Corsair lovers]!
