Installing 980x + Waterblock

I have a R3E motherboard but I'm confused.

Anyone have pics or something?

Everywhere I've read says the CPU needs to be clipped in using the motherboard but I don't know if the R3E is the same. How does this work?

Read the manual. It's the best place you can look for help.

EDIT: Does the block even come with a manual? Or some sort of instruction set?

I have a YouTube tutorial for the block. It confuses me because the CPU doesn't appear to be held on with anything. And if the CPU IS held on with something, I don't know how the block would even fit on it?

The CPU is being held in by the motherboard clip like thing...The water block should have the plate for the 1366 socket that is mounting it to the motherboard. just as if you were installing a fan.

The clip like thing is that thing that holds the little plastic insert with the yellow sticker that says something to the sort of 'do not remove until installing processor'.

R3E should be just like any other motherboard, it does have a clip for you to place the cpu in. Maybe your board is missing something?
