Audio Cuts out only on Bluray

So I have a LG Bluray burner. I bought it so I can watch my Bluray movies on my PC instead of my PS3 and also so I can make Backup discs.

Now when I play CDs or DVDs through my Optical drive they play just fine. However when I play my Bluray movies the Audio plays fine for previews, commentary tracks, and the Menu audio, but when it comes the the actual movie it only plays video.

I also noticed that Audio for my Bluray movies can't be adjusted via Volume Control panel or the actual Bluray player Program. Only via my actual Receiver.

I am hooked up via Optical out.

I have tried both WinDVD10 and the Cyberlink Disc Suite that comes with my optical drive.

Any help?

are powerdvd and windvd up to date? if they are and its not working, try the totalmedia theater 5 trial, see if it works properly in that.

But if you are using optical you will need to go into the options obviously and tell the software player to downmix the truehd/dts master tracks to either dolby digital or dts, as that is all that can be sent over optical, tmt definitely has an option to do this and works as i used it on my old setup, but im sure powerdvd and windvd should have the same options

Thanks bro that helped. I got my copy of WinDVD Pro 2010 to work. I just can't use Spdif, but it let me downmix it to DTS NEO 6 via 6 Speaker mode.
