I'd probably go with a PCI-E SSD as well, they only cost like 3k so, i'd go with a 2 tb one for kicks.

I can empty my bank account if I wanted to build a computer. There's so many things I want besides for what's inside the computer itself: audiophile headphones (I currently want the Denon AH-D2000), Maverick Audio TubeMagic D1 and A1, AudioEngine 2, Custom 1mm carbon fiber matte case (I'm planning on building one but that usually means $1000 down the drain). For the case poll, none of the above. I'm waiting for bulldozer otherwise.

for me, I currently have the gaming pc I've always wanted. there could be some other things I could get, like an ssd, but thats a luxury. gtx 460 sli is amazing. windows 7 is amazing. and I've got the computer case that I've always wanted (not exactly the haf932, but with all the glowy lights and cathodes).

I'll probably wait till nvidia comes out with the 700/800 series for an upgrade

I'm a shuttle form factor person

Case-wise, the Lan Gear Da Box is one of my favorites. Small shuttle mATX case with room for a tower cooler and 120mm fan mount.

Throw in an Asus x58 gene in there, i7 980x, Corsair H70 for simple yet effective cooling, and SLI two 580s and you have my dream gaming PC!
