im playing the game at 8x MSAA maxed settings and 1080p

You could also tone down the crowd tessellation to be able to maintain 60fps, because our ATI cards suffer a bit when it comes to that part of DX11.

Hopefully they'll upgrade the amount of tessellation units on the next line of GPUs in order to stand a chance against Fermi's DX11 performance.

At those settings and resolution, the CPU IS NOT a bottleneck.

You're simply maxing out the card.

^ THIS.
But even he has some low fps for some reason...
I mean its 6950 its better with dx than all previous ati cards.

Edit: at 2560x1600 with all settings to max and 8xaa 6950 1g is getting 50fps (hardware canucks)

In Dirt 2 it will. My friend has one and I know my OC'ed E8200 outperforms it significantly in BC2. Both BC2 and Dirt 2 have quad support and with a superior CPU I'm doing about 35-40 FPS with my card @ something like max + 4x MSAA (and I know the CPU is my bottleneck) so I'd estimate that it in fact is his CPU that's the cause of this.
