I'm liking the ideas for zombie and post-apocalyptic and the various zombie-apocalypse hybrids (RE: I Am Legend).
I think the I Am Legend story would work best if it had a world large enough to allow a online multiplayer environment but still afford the player the feelings of desolation, lonesomeness and isolation. Unfortunately, that would require a world vastly larger than our own in real life because I think the online community of players would be magnitudes larger than the realistic number of survivors after such an event. Almost like Earth would need to be closer to the size of Jupiter, does anyone understand what I'm talking about? Early morning thinking is not my 'forte. ![]() Perhaps this is the very reason this genre has not received the attention that so many are clamoring for. I'm not saying it's impossible, but thats quite a task. Perhaps if Blu-Ray were to ever reach the necessary PC gaming market penetration (speaking to the aspect of massive storage for such a world). I dont know. |

Mabey I would settle for the graphics of rage if i could have it right now.
