If I'm reading correctly.

Don't need to build up an attitude, jeez.
He cant use Windows because of the new Motherboard, not his CPU. You can lock and unlock cores all day with an OEM copy of Windows without having to call Microsoft. I have OEM Windows , have done it a bunch.

You can always "lock it" but it wont help you

But Just call Microsoft and tell th em you got a new motherboard and that you have every right to using their OS. and they should be able to reactivate it

Do this. Oh and you dont actually have to talk to anyone. Just got to give your product code, then it will give you a new one.

Okay boys, i got everything sorted out and got the new Mobo working with my Windows 7 Ultimate disc! Cheers to all the helpers (and a little rep on the side ^_=!)
