Intel Stock Cooler Not Staying

Thread Starter
I keep trying to seat the stock intel cooler until I have enough cash to upgrade to a venomous x . Unfortunately, the plastic arrowheads aren't staying locked in the holes on the mobo. What can I do to ensure good contact between the CPU and the heatsink.

ps.... its a 1366 socket

I had to twist my pins to lock them. Obviously in the opposite direction of where the arrows point.

I kinda just pushed mine in and they worked, others i've had to push in and turn randomly before they'll lock.

Had the same problem on my 2500k. Spent 30 minutes getting all of them set in correctly

Spitty you are 10 times faster then me. Sometimes the pin itself doesn't go in when you push it as well.
