The game is still broken. Hit detection is still horrid across the board, with hitboxes that feel about two people behind where they should be, and they apparently haven't playtested HC mode at all, because the G36 still has no sight reticule, and essentially all the light vehicle weapons and manned gunner spots in the helis are useless due to a lack of either a proper ADS option or crosshairs. Hell, it took them what, three months just to fix the glass in the mounted machine guns so you could see out of them? Seven months just to remember our login information?

There's a HUGE amount of potential in Bad Company 2 - but it's still horribly broken. I'm not bad at the game, but I'm still saying that it's definitely not what I expect from a supposedly finalized retail game. Between this and the completely mediocre mess that is MoH multiplayer, I'm not inclined to pre-order Battlefield 3 unless I see something major that changes my mind. I like the direction DICE is allegedly going with Battlefield 3 - I hope to high hell they give us an amazing game. But as it stands, they have failed to deliver in my book, and until I find some proof otherwise, I'm not inclined to pre-order any more games from them.
Until then you could play 2142. It's fantastic. Better gameplay IMO than BC2.

Good riddance. I would like to let you know that the mounted MG Glass bug was do to Video Drivers, which was something that DICE could not do. It was required to be fixed by Nvidia.

The PC team was merely 7 guys working on fixing everything, while porting the engine over to PC. They had a monumental task. While Battlefield 3 is seeing the entire team focus on the PC version, and they have even said that the team is double the entire team that worked on bad company 2, console + PC included.

People complaining about hitreg, the problem is the servers. Some of the server providers arent up to the task and are overloading their systems. As the hit detection between different servers can be pretty immense. Its as simple as seeing it and changing to a different server. Very rarely if ever do i have any hit detection problems, pretty much only when i dont play on one of my usual hang outs. Considering i can regularly kill people in a handful of bullets regardless of the gun, i am pretty sure my hits are registering fine. Alot of people are foolish in the fact that they fire bullets until they see text they got the kill, by that time, they have already fired 5-6 or more bullets than they needed. Pay attention to how many bullets you fire instead of looking for the visual confirmation and you will be a step closer to getting 4-5 kills per clip.

So im inclined to disregard anything you say because you havent done your homework.

Same for me when I play on local server. Unfortunately I played a lot on US servers with OCN people. Rage often ensues.

That's the truth...

I'll snatch it up if it at least goes back to the original style of shooting, true targeting shooting, not like BC2 with the insane large hit boxes which allows your opponents to hit you while you are running around corners or 95% hidden...

Too many headshots quickly leads one to believe the game is a Fail and fast, regardless if they suck or not...

Nevertheless, I'll be waiting to here reports before I put a $ in...

I'm hoping they make it good, fix graphics too, some of the graphic VFXs were very buggy, and I also hope they take away the blood splatter, I'm not interested in too much realism... Poor visibility in BC2 was so horrible it's one of the main reasons I didn't like the game to begin with..

I'm not saying Dice can't do it, I'm saying I hope they do make the game significantly better than Bad Company!

There was a lot of rage about the server issues, remember that?

I'm getting a good laugh about the replies stating how much the love Dice by writing two false lines we don't actually know if they are true.

Dice my ass.
BC2 was such a disappointment with its horse long face maps.
And unbalanced, server lags, unoptimization and "DLC"- Skin pack.
Originally you get weapon skins as rewards got hilarious when M95 got this so called "Metal skin" which is actually M95 original color.

Can't get more hilarious than this.

you people make me laugh. When its out for consoles primarily eg bc2 "dice suck they wont support pc users anymore cry " when its out for pc its like dice rule"

Either way people still buy their products and from their point of view console is a bigger market than pc. Dont get me wrong tho pretty much everything will be better on pc especially the graphics.
