Console ports "not how they do things?"

Come now, that's already a lie. As fun as BFBC2 was (when it bloody worked), it was without a doubt built primarily with consoles in mind.

Ever tried to get rid of all the hideous acceleration and negative acceleration effects on mouse input? Nearly impossible. Know why? Same reason that crap happened with UT3.

Simultaneous console development.
A: Because pessimism is tiring.

B: Opinions on Bad Company 2 are exactly that... opinions.

I'm starting to regain faith but if they pull a BC2 on BF3 then it's all the nails in the coffin for true hardcore BF play on the PC.
Holy crap, how many times do people have to say it. BC2 is a console port because it is a CONSOLE GAME they decided to port to pc since they hadn't released any pc battlefields in several years. Bad company was the console side of battlefield, would you have rather had them not port it at all and have no game?

On that note just because a game is a port does not inherently make it bad, had they done no optimization and did the bare minimum like some companies do yes it would have been bad, but they actually took the time out to do optimization, they increased player count in servers and plenty of other things that other companies would never have dreamt of doing for a port.

BC2 is AWESOME, even being a console port. I can't think of many flaws BC2 has, and literally 0 major flaws.

This is why Dice rapes all (except Valve).

Only 3 words came to mind when reading that, "win", "win", and "motherflucking win", wait that's four. And I've yet to play a Valve game that I've enjoyed, unless, I was playing a Valve game and didn't know it.
