you forgot about valve.

And anyways, DICE was behind BFBC2 as well... and that had console port written all over it. I'm very iffy; hopefully the DICE team behind BFBC2 is not influencing BF3 in any way shape or form. And I don't really want to be iffy. BF2 was one of my favorite games.

EA killed the CnC series. Hopefully their influence doesn't kill BF either.

Ok, I'll give you that one too. I overlook Blizzard and pretty much every RPG or RTS developer because I don't play RPG or RTS games.

I bet that this is not so much because they have some love for PC's. The last game, even as a console port, sold more copies on PC than xbox or PS3 (so I have read). Knowing this, it is smart for DICE to make the game for the largest buying audience.

although i do love the enthusiasm and unflinching loyalty of the pc gamer fans. isn't it just a matter of time before DICE and the remaining PC exclusive company's switch over to the dark side?

1 by 1 the pc exclusive software company's have... how do i put it.... lost faith.

its like here's us. 500 people. and then theirs them. 500000000000000 people. our days are almost numbered

You realize that the Bad Company series is more of a console game to begin with right? The first wasn't on the PC at all.

While I have been having fun with BC2, there are still a million bugs I'm pissed about. Some of them are fiddly things like collision detection that I can understand problems with, but there are some really dumb ones any intern could do in an hour, like not logging you into your profile when you start the game. (Should at least be an option)

So, I'm not about to preorder. Let me know when they've proven they can release a Battlefield game that's half-decent on launch, and I'll be back.
