From IE go to tools -> Internet Options and under Browser History select "Delete" and make sure "History" is checked and then click Delete.

Or you can delete them one at a time from the drop down (just click on the red x).

Next time use "start in private browsing", will not leave a record of anything.

Delete Internet Explorer
Install Firefox
????
Profit!

I don't see a need to use IE anymore. Firefox, Chrome and even Safari (lol) do what IE does, better. It's in the same league as AOL and all those other prepackaged browsers.

Sorry my post was of no help.
