noob question, could i plug my pci soundcard on pciex16 ?

damn...w/o thinking i just bought another vga for SLI...

and it seems my soundcard slot gonna be blocked...

so could i ? >.<

or is ther any way....so i could still use my soundcarD ?

If it is a pci-e sound card then yes. As they will work in any pci-e slot. If it is a older pci sound card then no it will not work.

Don't worry OP, this happened to me too.

I would return your 2nd GPU while you still can, rather than spend more money on another sound card. I did the opposite and thankfully I was still under the 30 day return limit when I realized that it just wasn't worth it.

I plugged in a PCI network adaptor into a PCI-E X8 slot once and messed up my motherboard, luckly enough clearing the CMOS fixed it.
