6970 to 240hz HD tv

I'm using 6970 CF and I got my 52" Sony 240hz monitor today and I connected through hdmi but how can I enable 240hz or 120hz I can only see 60hz

You might need drivers for your screen,

it's not a real 240Hz.

it's 60Hz and the TV's processor makes it 240Hz.

so if you have 60fps, the TV will 'create' 3 artificial frames inbetween the 2 'real' frames. frame 1 and 4 are real and 2 and 3 are created by the tv.

I read Samsung and Sony are the only 2 manufactures providing true 240hz...where as the rest are re creating frames.

And there stupidly more expensive because of it lol

The 240 is through interpolation, it will only accept a 60fps signal.
