New build! what do you think?

Thread Starter
I recently fried my desktop CPU (Athlon 2 630) and my motherboard

I don't have a lot of money to spend on a new setup.

I was poking around and noticed that the core i3 550 (no OC) offers similar performance to the Athlon 2 (no OC) for only $99. I was satisfied with my 930 (no OC) and I plan to Overclock the S**t out of the i3 if I get one.

How do you guys feel about this cheap option? Its going to be a mini itx build.

I will be using it for games paired up with an ati 5850.

!!!!!!!Will the hyper-Threading paired with the Overclock make up for the Only having 2 Cores?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
