I know that you mentioned "Mobile". The GPU setup is Optimus, so you may have better battery life than expected.

Also, you may want to upgrade the wireless card. It does not cost very much, and it may help you significantly with weak wireless connections. The higher end wifi cards use more antennas IIRC.
cool thanks. ive never really thought they make a big difference, but i trust my fellow OCNer

Also, I just saw this. The screen you selected is only 1366x768. 1920x1080 is $65 more. I highly suggest you choose that upgrade before blu-ray

I have an Asus UL80vt with switchable videos cards. With my g210m on, I get 6hrs of battery life. With integrated I get around 10. But remember, your battery life will be nowhere near this as mine is a a ULV laptop. Although, you should notice significant improvement as do I.

According to their spec sheet it only has one slot dedicated for a hard drive. Xoticpc has an option to put a hard drive in place of your optical drive.

Contact them and ask them for a quote without the ram. You can get a name brand 8 gigs for 70$, Last time i checked their 8 gigs was +70 from an already included 4 gigs. Should save you $30 or w/e and give you better ram.
Drop the 2720 for the 2630. Its true that the 2720 is a good upgrade, but they overcharge for the upgrade, its not worth +160$

I second the G53. Thing is reallly really nice. Core i7, DDR3 RAM, Blu Ray, and a GTX 460M which is probably more powerful than the GT540m.
