Its more expensive than the NP8130 he was looking at and he would still need to tack on more money to get the upgrades he wanted.
^This guy know what I want. The only thing is thinking about it and I dont really need a beast of a gaming machine for the go. The main game ill prob play more on the go is Minecraft(burn suit on) lol
I def need some power though as java sucks, and I would like to do some other things with it. So good ram and cpu is a given.

I just really dont want to wait til mid March

edit: so i updated the title a little. After sleeping on it I dont think I would do as much gaming as I first thought. I would be doing some server admin and website stuff with it on the go, which should not require much. lol
Im still pretty fond of the 8130.

Well that sorta changes things, minecraft can be played on a 500$ laptop lol.

Assuming you still want to send roughly 1k, get the 5160. This will be the best laptop for your money, and will last a long time assuming you dont want to play brand new games at high/ultra.

ya im thinking the same, especially with the 3-5hrs battery life.
Only thing different from what you have is I would get the Ultimate N and prob the 2720.

I know what you said about the 2720 before but i read something that showed the 2720 is so much better than its lower end brother.

I hang around the sager/clevo forums all day. And unless you want to give money away, in which case I'll gladly take some, the difference from the stock card and the intel N is not worth the money. And i'm not saying the 2720 isnt better, its obviously is, but the cpu is 25$ more than a 2630, the people who build the sagers are just overpricing it because they know people will still buy it. In reality though you wont notice any difference between the two unless you are benchmarking or care about an extra minute or two on rendering videos.

The 2630 is still a top of the line cpu, it beats out all the first gen mobile i7's.
I wanted the 2720 too, but the markup is way too high, so I'm going to buy a clevo shell and assemble my own for a cheaper price. But if i was buying it premade like you are, I would buy the 2630.

wow great stuff bro. Thanks for more in depth input on the subject.
Oh and yes i do video rendering and may do a little bit on this machine LOL
either way I have to wait til the end of march

Im def excited for the quality and performance i can expect from sager.

Oh and if you wanna build me a lappy from a shell i would love that. LOL
were would you even get the parts?

that price difference also makes me wanna just ask for the damn thing without a cpu and buy one for the 20 buck more lol

You buy the case + mobo + usually gpu from one of the resellers, as the case and mobo are proprietary, then you can buy the ram, hd, cpu, wifi, etc yourself and assemble it.
