I have to say, the giant poll list and text size are really obnoxious.

In other news, my TFII comes in tomorrow.

I can fix the text, but not the poll. I thought about just listing the OEM's, but then wanted to see how many of us went for the special edition/overclocked versions. If a few more would like to see just the OEM's, I'll try to get a mod to fix it.

What games do you play now w/ the 480? I'm assuming you're @ 1920x1200? It'll be interesting to see just how close the 560 can come. I can tell you there's a GINORMOUS difference in heat output compared to the 470 I had previously. So you should be in for quite a treat.

760's stock @ 2.8 w/ turbo
2x2GB 1333 CL9
EVGA SC @ stock speeds of 900/1800/4200

OC Scanner wo/ power draw mode enabled, 21C Room Temp.

Well, the most demanding game I played (I've already gotten rid of the 480, 560 arriving tonight) regularly was BFBC2 at maxed in-game settings (including 32xAA) at 1080p; I would consistently show 60fps w/Vsync. I dabbled into Crysis a few times, but that doesn't count

According to all of the reviews I've seen listing overclocked performance, the GTX 560 seems to approach, meet or beat the 480 in a lot of games. The acoustics of the 480 were really starting to get to me anyway, so I figured this was a no-brainer. Plus, in a month I'm probably grabbing another card for Crysis 2, and I really didn't want to mess with two 480's.

I'm pissed that I have to go to work basically right after I can pick up my card from the mail room, but I can't wait to play a game without that blower going off in my case

Meh, I grabbed a Gainward GTX 560 ti with stock clocks? That card isn't listed? Perhaps it is a european brand?
EDIT The PCB is red, just like the palit... so I voted for that

That game does tear up a pc...cpu and gpu. I had the Galaxy 470...can't imagine what a reference 480 sounds like.

*shudders*

And yet it ends up being a better look @ the TF2 than most professional sites, lol.

I heard those things were loud. But most owner's liked to put up a fight and defend their purchase, lol.

I do wish they went w/ an aluminum shroud though. The plastic on an upper mid range card's a little lame.

Something like this would've been nice.
