The same can be said many times over with your own rig bud,

Benches are pointless as my 5850's would kill your GTX480

5850 CF >> 5970 >> GTX480 >> GTX470...

And I'm running 1Ghz core speeds on both my 5850's to boot...

This, I was just trying to help with an informed decision and obviously that isn't going anywhere.

OP in no way am I upset with you, I could care less what you get TBH. Its your money and you will spend it how you see fit. I was just trying to help you make a decision thats all.

The 560 review is as recent as it gets for those two old cards.
You would think that would have been easy enough to figure out. Apparently I was mistaken.

Who said anything about my own rig? I cant justify spending 400 dollars for both cards when I can have mine at 300 :/ plus it plays everything I need right now and if I ever need to I can expand later

This thread is speaking in single card, 470 and the 5850.

This thread is leading no where, people provide some benchmarks plox

Had both, i liked HD 5850 better. 30C cooler, OCed to 1Ghz. GTX470 did 800Mhz. Even @ 950Mhz HD 5850 was faster in most games i played. I know games like Far Cry 2, Lost Planet 2, HAWX 2, HAWX GTX470 will win bu those are horrible game. Games like Starcraft 2, Crysis, Just Cause my HD 5850 was faster.

My rig is faster than yours even?

I have a 470 overclocked 150mhz and can go much higher.
And have a 2gb gtx 285 I can stick in there for a dedicated physx card
on an i7 870 overclocked to 4ghz, which will kill any phenom II out there because of their horrible architecture. They make for horrible gaming cpus.
on a 22inch screen.

plenty of power and pushes plenty of framerates.
Any framerate over 60 is a waste of frames and power on a 60hz monitor.

lol sry I forgot the EPEEN

antuk15 your epeen is shrinking very fast.
troll elsewhere.

fact is for me, my 470 plays anything I want and very playable framerates. I only need 60fps in any game for my 60hz monitor. anything over is just for benchmarks and your epeen.
If I wanted more power I'd overclock more but I don't need more.
