Stuck with a Decision

Also if you care to answer what do you think I should do.

1) Eat the cost and return all my WC. Being a student I don't have the time to play around with it and be stressed about it. And then either save or buy another 580.

2) Try to get all my WC working perfectly and keep it.

My point is I don't have the time to tinker I just need it to work. And with another GTX 580 it would be a plug and go.

If I could go back in time I would have just got another GTX 580.

So what do you guys think?

It's really not that time consuming to get it up and running. I can't tell you how many times I've torn down my loop and rebuilt. I'd say pick a Sunday, or any day you have a few hours for that matter, and get it done.

I didnt spend but a couple hours on my first loop. If youre worried about it being too difficult, youre just psyching yourself out. However, if you are worried about it taking too long and a sunday afternoon is too long for you, then I guess I understand your time constraints.

It really isnt that bad, though. Definitely not as bad as I first thought it would be.

I'd definitely try and get it working for a bit longer first. If you fail and still want to sell it you'll be able to get most of the original cost back by selling it on this forum.

its not fun when your not overclocking hardware its what were all about.

if you got another 580 just to game what will you succeed? i say have the time on a free day fix your loop.

check it out shouldn't be that bad draining it and adding some new things instead of plug and go

Question is; what's not working? Why the frustration?

Have a small rad leak that leaks only during full load folding, or Metro 2033. The guys at Jab Tech sent me out another rad though but it was delayed from today to monday.

what do you really need with 2 580's that 1 wont do, REALLY!!!

Nothing will ever run crysis the way it should

water cooling is pretty simple, tweaking the overclock can be tricky but the cooling is simple

I havent tore my loop down in almost 10 months and its still clean and cooling as good as it did when I put it together
