I just overclocked my 1090T to 4.26GHZ on my current air cooler, is there something wrong with your H70? I think it is better or at least on par with a Scythe Mugen 2.

Well from what I see and heard the h70 is supposed to be fine on settings of 4ghz.
But somehow mine is already at 3,2ghz at 34°C idle and full load prolly 43°C.
Which is kinda high isn't it ?

If those are core temps then yes its high, if thats cpu temps then you are perfect, those would be ideal temps with much room for more overclocking

Everything looks perfect though i would recommend a few changes.

I would get the MCP35X pump instead this way you dont need to get the separate top and you will still get a little better performance and its the same price. i would also swap out the EK Supreme with the XSPC Rasa cpu block especially with the GTX Rad, you will actually get a 1c drop in temps doing this and save 40$.

If you decide to go with the Rasa block use regular 1/2 barb fittings and 2 metal hose clamps, the compression fittings are a little to large and they tough one another making it almost impossible to tighten them.

Also make sure the Gentle Typhoons you get are the 1850s, anything less then that and it wont be beneficial for the GTX rad.

Also if the tuning your getting is clear and you plan to add dye for color dont do it, if you want color get the primochill uv tubung. Im not sure exactly what your plans are but i remember you saying something about blue in the beginning, so i figured i would mention it.

I own both and we have almost identical machines so trust me this is all done off of hours of playing around and testing things with my own rig.

That sounds interesting. I will take a look at those things. If I can safe money and still have the same or even better performance it will be great.
And yea I thought about uv reactive tubing.

Which tubing and fitting size would you suggest for my cpu loop for the 1090t ?
I plan on going for 4ghz.

So far I thought to go with 1/2" tubing and fittings.
I get 4Ghz with the stock cooler so don't bother watercooling for 4Ghz...

Does it make a difference in overclocking depending which ram you use ? Like 1330 or 1600, 2000 etc.

Back then when I build my pc I didn't know that I could use 1600 and 2000 rams.
