it is possible to Crossfire ASUS 4890 noTOP with TOP card?

Hello, Id like to improve my computer with another 4890 to set Crossfire.

I have the following card:

ATI ASUS EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=2bgXQ8xJkV4odiKM

Code:
Engine Clock 850 MHz
Memory Clock 3900 MHz ( 975 MHz DDR5 )
RAMDAC 400MHz
Im new with Crossfire, I would like to know if it would be possible to do Crossfire with the following card:

ATI ASUS EAH4890 TOP/HTDI/1GD5
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=1TSBZyIi7QpVFcpz

Code:
Engine Clock 900 MHz
Memory Clock 4000 MHz ( 1000 MHz DDR5 )
RAMDAC 400MHz
I can see the clock differences between them. I dont know If overclocking my nonTOP version or undercloking the TOP version will be enough for Crossfire, or maybe I dont need even to do it.

Thanks

You can but both cards will run at the slower clock value.

You can overclock them to the same value though so shouldn't be an issue.

As stated, the faster one will downclock by default.
You could always overclock the lesser one as factory OC's are easily obtainable by average consumers.

As long as you have cards from the same seires (69**, 58**, 57**, etc) you can crossfire them. Faster clocked cards will downclock, if you stick in cards with lesser amounts of RAM, the RAM will be limited to that of the smaller card. However, it will still function.
