No in this leaked copy, nope. I've driven a vehicle though but the controls for them seem way off and my audio in a few things gets really messed up (like when driving, or firing certain weapons).

You get to level up your powersuit now too which seems weird but might be ok I guess.

I've had this game preordered for ages and will definitely buy it. I want my eye candies!!!!

This game looks like it's going to need some serious graphical horsepower to play with DX11. DX9 with Maxxed settings = ~50fps with a single 480 at stock clocks. I figure tri sli will be needed just to play the dx11 mode @ 1920x1200 with decent fps w/ max settings.

It's lame that the middle mouse control over the suit functions are gone, but what's done new isn't bad. Just hold down the action button longer in order to activate the suits usage of it eg: hold down space for a suit activated jump or hold down v for suit powered melee instead of normal melee

Not going to lie. Everything about Crysis 2 looks sick. From what I hear it runs really well. The gun fire noise is epic. I will without a doubt support crytek by buying this.

Like any person in their right mind will buy triple-SLI cards for 1 mediocre game.

The first one was great looking but didn't bring anything new to the table. Modern Warfare far surpassed it on all accounts except graphics. Even then it wasn't far behind and it ran 10 times better.
Warhead was a joke, finished it in one afternoon and forgot about it.

I heard this time around the engine has been optimized. It's in line with similar shooters like BC 2 which runs at least 3-4 times better. I'm still skeptical about the actual gameplay though.

I'm going to disprove you on BC2.

On account of actual GPU usage while ingame.

BC2= 30-50% avg.
Crysis 2 = 100% avg, even on a dual core.

you'd have to wait for the official demo to know the answer to that i think
so crysis 2 is going to be a DX11 game. If that's the case then is looking even better. Right now from what i saw the water effect the eviroment and texture look really good and is only direct x9 .

No wonder why....

Bad Company 2 is really CPU-GPU dependant, and that Dual Core you have is a HUGE bottleneck for an HD5970... It's just ridiculous to have an 5970 with a Dual Core, don't feel offended please, but 5970 is really CPU dependant, I've had one my self.

Even with my X6 1055T @ 4Ghz there was bottleneck and when I swapped to i7 2600k 4.8Ghz the improvement was huge.

I have Bad Company 2 and I always had 99% usage on both cores of the 5970....

You have a huge bottleneck mate.

I know I do have a bottleneck. On Bad Company 2. It depends on how the game or engine is coded and with most console ports being more CPU dependent than GPU dependent, it's a pleasant surprise to actually have a game/engine more dependent on GPU than it is on CPU.

Eg. Heaven 2.1 benchmark also manages to score 100% on the GPU, where it yields similar results to what benchmarks on reviews get.

Crysis 2 is in the same boat. You know a game was properly optimized when it manages to stress your GPU better than the CPU.

Vantage however. That's somewhat CPU dependent. =P

I know you're going to miss my point and cry "ur cpu is bottleneck", no it's not my CPU's fault. It's the how well optimized an engine is for use on PC.
