How did Crysis 2 get leaked? Did someone had access to their computer and stole the game? Or was it an inside job or publicity stunt to see how many people would go crazy wanting to play the game? Gives them an idea how much money they can rake in. Although Crytek claimed they were disappointed, could it be they were lying and just wanted to see what happened? OR.. did someone hack their system and stole every Crysis file? lol.
I still think it was an inside job and someone broke the rules or someone had access to a beta testing program? I have no clue. Still doesn't explain how it got leaked in the first place got me thinking it could been Crytek all along just to see how the reaction go in PC community, thus getting feedback and finalizing the touch ups for the final release? Thoughts?
watching the intro vid (it was in the source link of a news article on here somewhere) i think it was an inside job. i mean, it says Crytek, internal distribution only on it. means someone from the inside, or someone let their friend in or something.
jury's still out in my mind of whether or not it was planned, but it could easily have been, considering they've been mum on the PC aspect of it for most of the time.

I wouldn't care if DLC was announced month after game is out, shoot thats just EA being EA. But this is in a leak, and really early. So its just another "sigh..." to add to the Cryfail list at this point.
Feel my drift?
i think i do, but then we don't know just how old this build is (at least i don't
). even so i think it makes sense if you look at it from the EA angle a bit more. we know EA like having DLC, and Crytek i think said something along the lines of having a bigger budget to work with and having this be a higher profile title, so it would follow that DLC would come. from what i understand DLC is planned in around alpha and beta of a game (could well be wrong here) so given the early nature of this i guess that'd be what happened (is the build too new to be alpha? i don't know).
in any event most games come with DLC that's preplanned. Dragon Age Origins is a good example of this (Awakening was out only a couple of months after the original). i guess i just see it as having been inevitable. not that i like it, but it seems to be par for the course these days

Heck, I could make a HL episode 3 folder in my steam apps and could spout out that there leaked info of episode 3 and it's coming out in the next couple of months...
