you obviously havent played the crysis 2 demo yet, because the graphics are not only far superior but run many times better. the difference of direct x 9 and direct x 10 are only difference in smoke particle effects and a little bit of native shadow improvements, all of which are features that could be (and have been) programmed into engines running direct x 9 allowing these features to not only require less resources, but even run on older hardware.
everything in crysis 2 looks better than crysis one, which, while being DX10, had horrible shadows and particle effects along with complete garbage physics. play the damn game before you run your angry fingers and post another pointless comment.
AND NEED I REMIND YOU THAT PHYSICS AND SHADERS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS DUMBED DOWN FOR MULTIPLAYER FOR THE SIMPLE SAKE OF REAL TIME CHANGES PRODUCED BY 12 PLAYERS?
