This question is not meant to start any issue's so please do not go that route...

Out of curiosity didn't Nvidia's website list at one time Crysis 2 as a DX11 game/technology? I could have sworn that is was listed on this page under the DirectX 11 section

http://www.geforce.com/#/GamesandApps

And now it's no longer there or has my mind been playing tricks on me? lol

Any how for those that bought the game I hope You enjoy it

Guys I am really sorry to bother and for being so late for the party but can anyone confirm if the retail is just the leaked beta with significantly less bugs? (as far as SP goes anyway)

No extra features such as more graphics settings?

Thanks so much in advance.

I don't have the beta in my possession, but I was told that its different with graphics. Someone will have to confirm that with me but that's what I was told.

All of the reported bugs have been with logins and multiplayer so far. I've played about 2 hours of SP, didn't experience any bugs that effects the gameplay.

Nvidia had to take that down due to possibility being accused of false advertising. They saw that DX11 was going to be delayed and then pulled it from their site. There are people who will call EA/Nvidia and complain that their current DX11 cards, (GTX 400s), are not running DX11 and will demand a refund, some will even try to sue them. Yerli said himself that an announcement will be coming about DX11. The game is great in it's current form, in all seriousness.

On another subject:
The multiplayer also looks great and plays very well.

Single player is more linear like COD missions with scripted events. Player is given a few ways of approaching the objective (stealth, snipe, rambo...) but it doesn't give you the freedom like you had in Crysis 1 where you could just ignore objectives and roam around.

Spent half an hour playing the SP campaign. It is more linear than the first Crysis game but I had fun nonetheless.

To summarize- Crysis 2 is bugged as hell, linear, not that good looking (until *maybe* we get a DX11 patch).

FAIL!

Nvidia already can be sued for false advertising. Their biggest advertising strategy for the GTX 550 is all about being able to play Crysis 2 in DX11. Go check it out, I am not making this up.
