6970 to HD tv

When I play game it's fine but when I play movie it's slow down alittle bit once a while for a MS I'm not sure if my hdmi is 1.4 version does it matter if the hdmi is not 1.4

it really doesnt matter which hdmi version you have unless you're trying to run 3d.
