The money in his account is worth just as much as the money in his pocket, friend. Not sure what your point about cash is.

And don't worry - you aren't offending anyone with your dribble.

Do you really want to know how long it will take the FBI to get you?

Minutes..
We're talking about phone thieves, not some terrorist hiding in the Afghan Mountains.

Just like with those paywave cards, this will be exploited within a few years. People will find your phone, go buy gas, groceries and as much stuff from Best Buy, Target and Wal-Mart as they can before you shut it off.....which will be HARDER than just losing your wallet, since there are no payphones these days.

By the time your local police get around to 'tracking' the phone, it'll be the the trash or the side of the freeway. The occasional thief MIGHT be stupid and get caught but more often than not, you probably couldn't get a policeman to care enough to solve the case.

I once went to a convention with a model Walmart-like store where you walk in, grab what you need, and walk right out; the store charges your credit card and alerts security at the door if you don't have a valid one on you. Sucks for the workforce as cashiers would be losing their jobs, but it's an amazing advancement. No more dealing with lines. The population is horrible as it is, and it's only climbing. We really need to work on advancements to relieve the pressure of fuel, food availability, electricity costs, and traffic flow!
More birth control, less welfare. lol
