Im getting a corsair h70 this week, in a few months I want a full W/C setup

So if I keep the h70 waterblock, and rad, chuck out the cables, attach this pump...
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/C...-354168677.htm

get this res

http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/comp...2&ref=pricespy

And this tubing..

tygon tubing

Would that make a good setup?

Found this..
The reliable PMP-450S is Koolance's highest-flow pump. (If pump speed will be controlled, PMP-450 adjusts more reliably than PMP-450S.)

Maximum Flow Rate: 17.4L/min (4.6 gal/min) @ 12V, 22.3L/min (5.9 gal/min) @ 25V
Maximum Head Pressure: 4.9m (16.1ft) @ 12V, 5.7m (18.7ft) @ 25V
Motor: Brushless DC, electronically commutated, spherical motor
Expected Lifetime: 50,000 hrs. MTBF (5.7 years)
Voltage Range: 8 to 25 VDC
Startup Voltage: 9 to 13.2 VDC
Maximum Power Consumption: 23W @ 12VDC, 52.5W @ 25VDC
Maximum System Pressure: 3.5 kgf/cm2 (50 PSI)
Maximum Temperature: 60°C (140°F)
Electrical Connector: 4-pin Molex power supply connection + 3-pin (single lead) tach
Hose Connections: 13mm (1/2") ID hose barbs
Weight: 862g (1.9lbs)

At that flow p/m thats 1066L per hour.

none of that will work right for you

first the pump is built into the cpu block and would be highly restrictive to use it as a block only

for less than what your spending on the 655 the ek-spin and the h-70 you can get a

rasa kit with a 240mm rad 110.00 at www.sidewindercomputers.com

alot better buy and alot better setup

The H70 rad is made of aluminium, not something you want to mix with copper in your loop. You will have to run an anti corrosive coolant to avoid galvanic corrosion, which adds all sorts of problems.

Changing the pump and res is not going to increase the cooling performance much either, you are going to want to add more rad to your loop to do that.

Much better to get something like the Rasa kit now for only a little more than the H70, or if you are saving up then get a cheap air cooler (like the Hyper 212) and then get a full WC kit later.

Cant get the Rasa, not in my country, to much to import, thats why im viewing different options, so thats a bad idea? Ok thanks.

What about a different rad, this cpu block.. OCZ HydroFlow HF-MK1 CPU Waterblock

And a different radiator, but keeping the pump and res?

hey im in the same boat by the sounds....

I'm in NZ....not a huge range without spending big bucks.

also thinking about the H70 or this one, which is supposedly same as H70 but with 240 rad...which means could put 4 fans (2 push/2 pull)
http://www.playtech.co.nz/afawcs0139...ctdetails.html

otherwise yea was also looking at getting the OCZ block, cheap pump & rad.

wat u looking at paying for the OCZ block? saw them on trademe for 150 but can get them way cheaper

hmm ok ill email him and check it out...was going to email him today anyway to see if order has been sent...waiting on a few cables n things for this build from him.

he has good prices on the 140mm prolimatech fans, nzxt cables etc

we're looking at getting some OCZ block's for around $100...compared to the $150 they're advertised on trademe i thort that was ok.

also been eyeing up one of these for a while...
