Asus Crosshair Formula IV NOT BOOTING?! help!!

Thread Starter 
So I set it all up.

650tx psu
amd phenom x4 965 be
asus crosshair formula iv
8gb jaw(something) ram
500gb brand new hdd
9650 xfx

I have tried everything, every part is brand new just got it in today and I have no video. it turns on and purrs sounds so good! I just get nothing on the display I even have a new 24" asus montior lol. I tried switch pci-e slots and i checked all power connections, just no picture! I tried dvi and hdmi no luck...

Any advice? (I do not get post because of no screen)

dont mean to double post I am just in a hurry I have to leave in 2 hours and want to have it up!

Did you check if your Ram slots are working? Use one stick of ram at a time, and try booting it. I had / have a faulty ram slot and that caused me from booting.

DOA components are always a possibility. Anyways, check by the 24 pin connector and see if you've got any warning lits going for your main components (cpu, dram, vga and hdd) if you have a red lit on any of those things consult your manual (chapter 2 page 5) about this tool

Not force but just push it down evenly until it snaps in on both sides

It has to snap, but that doesn't mean the motherboard's ram slots are working. When I first got my Asus Mobo, the first ram slot was faulty. First, use one ram stick and plug in tightly and try to turn on the computer. If your screen still doesn't boot, try switching in another ram stick. If all your ram sticks don't work on the same slot, there's a good chance that slots faulty...or all your rams are faulty (ha..).
