New Lamptron FC6 RPM's not working.

Thread Starter
Just hooked up my FC6 to 4 stock tri speed antec fans in the antec 900.

I did not hook up the temp sensors.

The controller seems to be functioning but the rpm gauges are not working. All are stuck at 0.

All connections seem to be fine.
any ideas?

This may seem obvious or not, the fans yellow wire provides the RPM. If only 2 wires (Black, Red) are connected to the FC6, no RPM signal is read and your display is 0. If thats not the case, and you have connected right, then try connecting just one fan and test each channel with only one fan.

thanks. This looks like the issue because I am using a 3pin to 4pin fan connector that does not have the yellow connection. Looks like im SOL

Is there a reason why you are using the 3/4 adapter? You should connect the fans 3-pin directly to the fan controller. You may need to get extensions to make the distance for the rear or top fans.
