Nope. Not unless you have space concerns with tall RAM or mainboard heatsinks that interfere with better performing air coolers.

I would also say no, I just got mine and looking to replace it already. My Scythe Ninja 2 was 2C lower then what I get with the H50. Also had to go with 3.6GHz not 3.8GHz wa geeting over 75C, at 3.6GHz I top out around 67C.I would get a high end air cooler will do the same job or go with water.

O_O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just looked at your proc and its the EXACT same make and speed as mine. Wow, so the H50 didnt do as good a job as that ninja thingy? Thats weird i thought the H50 was a very good cooler that would beat out most air coolers.

Nope, in terms of cooling the H50 is mid/high range air cooler territory, a VenX or similar with some decent fan(s) would be considerably better, and cheaper.

I thought you had an i9 I'd get whatever looks best to you, but fits in the space you have. I'd go with a high-end air cooler over an H50, simply because I have the space. If I was going to water, an XSPC Rasa kit would be where to start.

Unless you're space constrained like everyone else mentioned, H50 isn't worth it. I had one and my i7 would shoot up to 75C+ @ 3.8GHz/1.19v with IBT. If you're going to do water, do it right with a XSPC RASA kit.
