Graphics look OK.. they look horribly aliased though! Hopefully these screenshots are indeed not showing Crysis 2 maxed.

The settings for those screens was the "hardcore" setting (highest for the leaked beta). It does only run in DX9. Individual graphics settings can't be edited in the beta so they could indeed end up looking much better with DX10/11 whenever the final version comes out-- or so I'd hope. Still, for a DX9 game with what looks like very little AA, it looks pretty good.

Do you want to know why the name of the engine is Cry engine 3?

Because it makes orthers engines developers cry... 3 times

Max settings as in DX11 with the highest graphics settings? I doubt it.
DX9 @ 1080p in hardcore mode you'll probably get 40fps.

Max settings as in... What my comment said. The BETA LEAK, which only supports DX9. So no, I do not recall stating that they were running the game in DX11 with the highest settings.

Like I said you can probably run the beta leak maxed out no problem, but the end game I highly doubt you're getting 40fps maxed out.

Personally I wasn't a big fan of the original, although I only played the demo.. and I call myself a real PC gamer

I will certainly have to check out Crysis 2 though.
