You'll get money though, and when you do, you'll kick yourself for wasting it on such a short-term investment.
Honestly, save and wait a little longer, brand new, you can buy a Mobo for under 40 quid, and a Palit GT240 1GB or a HD 5670 new for 50-60 quid.
Look on eBay and see if you can get any GT240's/5670's cheaper by all means, but you getting something on par with 9600GT (just under 50 quid 2nd hand)/GT240, it will by far benefit you moreso than forking out for an overpriced, sucky PCI card.
Plus you'll be able to play newer games should you want to.
My uncle used to buy cheap 50 quid drills that'd die quickly, with nasty NiCad batteries that lasted as long as an ice cream on a radiator. He easily went through over a grand on crap drills.
I went and got myself two top of the range Makita's for just over 300 quid a pop and showed him the quality difference, he started getting himself the mid-range Makita's and hasn't had one die on him yet.
Long term investment for a little more money is better than short-term gain. Edited by EvoBeardy - 2/12/11 at 7:27am
