To get past 950+/1450+ at 1.3v you need to up the fan to 70% or near it. Enjoy!!!

Kombuster as in the stress test to check out the temps? Or is their a actual benchmark

Would you say above 1.3v is safe for 24/7 if the fan speed is high enough?

Just curious, what are you using to test the stability of the card?

I'm thinking of giving overclocking my 5850 another go. I got lazy, because imo OCing a GPU takes a lot more patience than a CPU.

I just run loops of crysis over and over, and then play some games with it

I don't know about 24hr. I only overclock to 985/1460 @ 1.3v when I play Crysis at max settings. Other games I own are max out at stock settings. Though, no one has reported a damage card with 1.3v either, so it should be safe. One more thing, AB voltage control is 1.35v max. Someone ran a voltage test with a multimeter and set voltage in AB to 1.4v+ and it's still reads 1.35v (software limited). Best stability test is Crysis benchmark max settings with 30-50 loops. Trust me. I ran MSI Kombuster/ Furmark and it'll be stable but it crash Crysis in 10 minutes during gameplay. If you can pass Crysis benchmark with at least 30-50 loops your overclock is stable.

OCCT on the 5000 cards work well (not too good, though) but on these its more or less useless. The best thing to do is run like 100 loops of Crysis Warhead or Metro 2033 or Heaven on full settings.

Nice pics. The white looks better IRL than in the reference pics at website
