Even if I installed every game in my Steam Account, I'd take up still less than 1TB.
If the average PC Game is 10GB per install, and you think you need 4TB of space.
(4 terabytes divided by 10 gigabytes = 409.6)
That equates to having 409 games.
Now most games (85%) are not going to be 10GB per install, that was a huge estimation to try and prove a point.
From what I've seen in my library, most PC games I have install to about 3 to 5GB per install...
(2 terabytes divided by 5 gigabytes = 409.6 )
So having a dedicated 1TB drive for games is really more than enough, unless you have huge sets of MAME Roms, etc, then get a 1.5Tb or 2TB to be safe.Edited by t0adphr0g - 2/12/11 at 3:05am
