Did my mobo take a dump?

Thread Starter
So last night I was playing a game in my sig rig when in the middle of the game it froze and a high pitch noise came from my speakers. Next the screen went black and the only way to turn ofF my rig was to unplug the psu. This morning I tried all the gfx cards separate and each time I have noticed I am unable to get to the part where my mobo usually makes a 'beep' noise and the loads the bios screen. I'm thinking there is a RMA mobo in my immediate future? Anything I might be forgetting? I cleared CMOS too btw.

I was going to say it's most likely the PSU, but I noticed you said you were able to boot, sort of.

Do you have another MOBO lying around to see if it'll at least boot? Other then that it definitely sounds like the MOBO has passed
