slush bucket? how to insulate? <- bumpage

hey wondering
i got a 775 waterblock wanting to get some really low temps :] see what oc i can get...

so slush bucket work for a cheap way to get low temps?

and will a normal aquarium pump work alright? :/

EDIT:!

how does 1 go about insulating cpu/board/tubes? :] what do i need

depends on the tank pump some really suck and some are not so bad

as for slush box u will need to insulate everything all the tubing the block around the cpu if u don't condensation will make really bad things happen

From your sig you just have a Megahalem, so I don't know how that would work. Ideally you'd use your WC'ing set up and throw your rad into a bucket full of ice.

nar not for my sigrig.. for my xfx 780i sli + e8400

..gets real cold.. make sure you insulate well otherwise your wasting cooling energy. Heres a look at my shut-off valves after a 4hr session.

There is no need for insulation in a normal slush box with ice. The water is not cold enough to form condensation.
